An ordinary guy with extraordinary achievements.

Zamir Dhale working as Advocacy Officer at Sense International (India) for the rights of deafblind and supporting sighted-hearing persons, deal with deaf blind issues, children and adults and also their parents and families across India.
I would like to talk about his difficulties, challenges and his hopes in life. He was born as a deaf child and attended a deaf school in Pune. He studied in Hindi medium.
Gradually, he lost his vision at the age of 9 because of illness. He felt very bad, frustrated, got angry with all very easily. His parents were not aware of his condition because there was no school for deafblind children in Pune. They were very sad and confused. They decided that he must stay at home.
His Maternal Grandfather was from Kudachi who was an Officer in Indian Army was worried about his education. He along with his aunty took his younger brother, Akhtar who is also deaf and with low vision and him to an institute called “Helen Keller Institute for the deaf & deafblind” in Mumbai. He introduced them to the Principal, respected Madam Beroz Vacha. She gave admission to them in her institute.
He practiced writing on paper and did palm printing for sighted and hearing people and also learnt Tadoma. He also learned typing on typewriter. He gained confidence in moving out alone by learning orientation and mobility training. His parents and teachers were worried about him when he went out alone and they did not allow him to go outside alone. However, he was determined to go out. Slowly they learned to trust him.
After finishing education, he started looking for jobs. His institute sent him to the National Association for the Blind, India at Mumbai for training in different courses/trades. Even after finishing training for 2 years on various trades, still there was no job for him. He felt very frustrated and cheated in my life because he wanted to be independent.
He also worked with Mr. Sanjay Leela' Bhansali in black. He trained and supported Rani Mukherjee and Amitabh in learning sign language, using Perkins Braille and mobility with Red-white cane. He travelled to different countries like USA, UK, Mexico, Nepal and Bangladesh for creating awareness regarding deafblind. Since 2006, he has been working with Sense International (India) working for deafblind people to make them independent and get work to earn good wages for their lives. He is now the Board Member of National Trust, Govt. of India, New Delhi.
He had many challenges and problems to face due to ignorance of the society. This led to misunderstanding and people regarded him as a beggar and gave money. He uses to throw the money and tried to talk to them that deafblind and disable people also have the potential to earn and live with dignity. Today, he is married, his wife is normal and educated and they have a daughter named Zoya who is about 6 months old.
If you want to talk to this guy then you can mail him and share your thoughts with him.

whom i admire the most...

People come into our life disguised as angels, and sometimes angels come into our life disguised as people. It is possible to see God anywhere. All it takes are open eyes and ears and the willingness to see miracles. They are everywhere. God is as available as we are. Having friends that inspire us to rise to higher and greater levels is an awesome gift. Surround yourself with people that inspire you to do better and inspire your friends as well. It is a profound truth that the people we hang out will shape the path that we travel.

" They never knwe the hurt inside,
i always tried to smile with pride;
They dont know how i really feel,
i never try to talk and heel,
i always come across so tough,
but in the end its not enough,
i never have been truely loved,
thats when she came,
full of love, her arms open,
now without her is not the same,
she loves me so,
now i know,
she is in my side,
our hearts to never divide,
i miss you grandma..."

fight between friends...

"Don't walk in front of me, I may not follow;
Don't walk behind me,I may not lead;
Walk beside me,and just be my friend."

Fighting is part of every real relationship. The key is knowing how to resolve the conflict without breaking up the friendship. Often it is the individual who knows how to communicate by sharing his feelings and not pointing fingers who can diffuse the situation. Since both members of the friendship are feeling defensive, it becomes a risky and sensitive venture. It may talk a couple tries to fully resolve your differences but you may come out with a stronger friendship at the other end.

Seeds of greatness...!!!

Parents are the unsung heroes of every person that has ever done anything great. Think about the people that you most admire in your life. Do you attribute any of their greatness to the people that raised them? Often, we do not even think about the fact that there were most likely two people who were most influential in making a person who they are. Of course I am referring to his or her parents. If a person is great, remember that greatness is not achieved in a vacuum. There were people who sowed the seeds of greatness.

Parents give so much to their children and expect nothing in return but it's nice when they receive some recognition from their children.
