Parents are the unsung heroes of every person that has ever done anything great. Think about the people that you most admire in your life. Do you attribute any of their greatness to the people that raised them? Often, we do not even think about the fact that there were most likely two people who were most influential in making a person who they are. Of course I am referring to his or her parents. If a person is great, remember that greatness is not achieved in a vacuum. There were people who sowed the seeds of greatness.
Parents give so much to their children and expect nothing in return but it's nice when they receive some recognition from their children.

Yeah, very true.
ReplyDeleteit s also very unfortunate that we always take our parents for granted. We dont listen to them, scream at them. We now a days tell them what we are going to do instead of seeking their permission. Thats what we call "generation gap". We think its cool to disobey our parents, call them "oldies" or orthodox. But how often we forget that they are the people who raised us, have always stood by us in whatever times that may come. We can never ever repay our parents for all the sacrifices they have made for us.
